Situations stalling or going in reverse are an illusion, so just rest your mind

Edward Monkton - The Cloud of Loveliness

A few situations in my world appear to have taken a step backwards at the moment and my Inbox is rather full of emails from friends who feel the same. ‘Deflated’ was a word used by one friend this morning.

If you’ve been immersed in dealing with things then there will come a point where it all appears to stop or seemingly to go into reverse. It is just temporary; take your hands off it for a while if you can; suspend your thoughts; trust that all is as it should be; have a think about anything that you can actually let go of; nuture yourself and do the things that make you smile.

I have used the words ‘seem’ and ‘appear’ a lot as I think that situations stalling are an illusion as before you get a real breakthrough with anything it appears to stop or be in reverse.

I’ve got a window of opportunity till about 3pm this afternoon and I’m off to continue my tile mosaic – still at the tiling stage with that! I’ve painted my nails bright blue (and I mean bright) so that I can see colour flashing whilst I work!!

For all of you who feel the need, my friend Edward Monkton covers it.
