Little strands of happiness thread through a good day…

‘Welfare check’ call to my Mum who felt rotten yesterday
Much better and family calling round to them with a cooked meal….

The sun coming out and my boys and I on a lovely walk
I swear they were smiling as they flew along with ears flying…

The birds wheeling high up through the trees
As fresh washing flaps on the line…..

Lovely daffodils and tulips brought over by a friend
Making the house feel and smell like Spring…..

Singing whilst grouting with an old cake spatula
Giving battered hands a welcome break….

Reaching the halfway point on the grouting climb
Out of my creative tiling abyss……

A hot chocolate as I take a break
Does it have squirty cream on top? You bet.
