Keep going with what you love and don’t let doubt, fear or others knock you off track…be kind to yourself.

Love by Edward Monkton

Do you ever catch yourself saying things like “I can’t do that, I’m rubbish at it”, “I could never do that, so I won’t start”, “I don’t think I’m good enough so I’ll just stop”, “I don’t do it like so and so, so I’m not good at it”. Insert your own words, but I think you’ve probably caught my drift.

What yardstick are you measuring yourself with? Who or what has planted those seeds of doubt? Are you stopping yourself out of fear?

A lot of the time we put our own blocks up, it’s a natural defence mechanism and each time we do it we reduce our energy and stop ourselves doing what makes us happy.

Rather than let it become a ‘big’ thing to sort out; keep going with it, take baby steps, try not to judge the results, capture the original love you felt, keep moving forward and the sparks will begin to fly again.

Then the very thing you need to happen will happen and you will have those gossamer layers of self worth going down in your soul.
