A happy blend with echoes rooted in the past….love and shared passions.

Sun pouring in and two women painting and creating in a special place in their garden; conversation flowing back and forth sprinkled with ‘What do you think of this?’ and ‘Have I got that right?’, canvases at various stages drying outside and a mother and daughter reminiscing about the things they have done together in the past.

Memories of painting a young girl’s bedroom together in a stunning ‘Fuchsia Falls’ pink whilst the film crew of Batman tested the Batmobile on the abandoned airstrip opposite.

A mother hand painting terracotta pots for a living with a little girl by her side painting her own pots and neighbours vying with each other to buy them. A photograph taken at the time shows a line of little pots drying in the sun on top of a pet rabbit’s cage.

Going back even further to sitting on the floor with a happy toddler sorting out all her treasures, toys and puzzles into freshly painted toy boxes in her newly decorated bedroom.

Love and shared passions.
