Carrying on, re-adjusting balance and maintaining confidence to make decisions and choices without fear…….

When plans go pear-shaped (and for those who know me well you will see that I am using a polite phrase here!!) it is in it’s own way an illusion of drama or a crisis. Those observing the situation from the outside may think ‘Oh goodness that’s awful’ but that is only the outward appearance as things need to break in order for a different clarity to emerge. It may look like a step back, a setback, a crisis, a drama or an upset but in fact it’s a re-adjustment on your life’s path. If no-one has died or been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness then it’s not that bad.

A necessary break gives pause and time to review how things are going. It can be something as simple as a change in how you run your day, how you spread your time across the activities you have chosen to do or a re-prioritising of the things you actually need to give attention too.

Ride the fear, everything is exactly as it should be at this moment in time. Acknowledge the break and take the opportunity to review what you do in your daily round as a change to how you manage the little things can make a huge difference to the path you have chosen to walk.

Onward and upward and above all else remember ‘Pants over tights and flick that cape’; a quick note to my IMOM “Don’t forget goggles complete the look” x
