The finest workers in stone are not copper or steel tools, but the gentle touches of air and water working at their leisure with a liberal allowance of time……Anon

The smallest changes can be the most profound and the sands of time change us as we wend our way up life’s stream. Yes, the boulders we sometimes hit leave obvious changes, but it is the sands that truly mould us. I see the boulders as ‘course’ correctors whilst the sands are the subtle moulding tools.

We may ‘suddenly’ create or do something and the loving circles of folk around us say ‘Oh my goodness, how did you do that? – or what happened there?’ but you know that the subtle changes have been taking place under the surface for a very long time indeed.

It is the dreams and hope you hold in your heart that direct the sands.

That is such a true observation. We are all improved by those sands as they mould us.
