Kreativ Blogger Award

Thank you Eric at Written Words Never Die for nominating my blog for a Kreativ Blogger Award on 1 January 2012 and for helping me with the things I need to do to convert this award as they were not as easy as they first appeared. I am so touched by all the support and care that has come my way since I started down this writing road in February 2011.

Now to follow the two rules of award conversion (and as those of you who know me well would say rules and I don’t go hand in hand)….

Rule One: Share ten things no-one (meaning the blogging community) know about you…my list follows:

1. Whilst I write our dogs sleep on my feet – the best hot water bottles.
2. I have seen and heard spirit since I was a child.
3. Nothing has ever shaken my belief in the existence of fairies.
4. I think in colour and see the energy fields around people as colour.
5. My teenage years were spent living in Africa.
6. I have an irrational fear of heights.
7. My belief in soul food is absolute…if you visit our home you will be fed.
8. I am rubbish at baking biscuits (note to my MOTM: I will keep practising).
9. My dislike of shopping is intense.
10. I am an intrepid sailor in life and remain undaunted by the absence of any map.

Rule Two: Pass the Kreativ Award onto six other bloggers at WordPress.com. This was tricky as I follow some great blogs and to narrow it down to six was a challenge, however my six nominees (in no order of preference) are as follows:

1. Scott at > http://artboy68project.wordpress.com 100 Portraits
2. Ray at > http://novicejournal.wordpress.com Novice Journal
3. T Scott at > http://dehypnotize.wordpress.com Dehypnotize
4. Dave at > http://ahumanistsperspective.wordpress.com A Humanist's Perspective
5. Michael at > http://jamesdez.wordpress.com Have a Dream
6. Jeannie at > http://1smiles.wordpress.com 1smiles

Thank you everyone, especially Eric, and here’s to a new year of creative and happy blogging.
