Candle Lighter Award and The Versatile Blogger Award (x2)

I am touched that the lovely Eric at Written Words Never Die has given me the Candle Lighter Award and it has taken me a few days to get to this as I wanted to give it the time it’s due. It is humbling to receive it from a writer of Eric’s calibre and I read all his thought provoking, very well written posts.

The Candle Lighter Award is an award for a blog or post that is positive and brings light into the world.

RULES: Whenever you see a blog or post you think brightens the world, give them The Candle Lighter Award. Recipients can accept or decline. What does the recipient have to do – simply accept and nothing more! You can paste this image on your blog, if you wish, and you are done! (You are right Eric I love these simple rules). If you reckon someone else is a Candle, pass it on, anytime and as many times and to as many people. Spread the light!

My nominees and in no order of preference:

1. Jacqueline at Mature Student Hanging In There
2. Danielle at Stay Out Of My Head especially her post ‘Hello? Is somebody out there? Universe?’
3. Jamie at Gently Hew Stone
4. Bill at Dr Bill Wooten

Thank you Eric Written Words Never Die, I am as ever grateful for your support.

And thank you to Tom at The Poet’s Crafts for nominating me for a second time for the Versatile Blogger Award, I am grateful and a wee bit overwhelmed with all this recognition from my peers.

Please forgive me but I won’t follow the rules this time, however I will list them for others who are receiving this award for the first time.

For this award you need to do a couple of things as follows:

1. Thank the award-giver and link back to them in your post.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Pass this award along to 15 recently discovered blogs that you enjoy reading.
4. Contact your chosen bloggers to let them know about the award.

I would like to take this opportunity to recognise other fellow bloggers (not mentioned before) who have brightened up my days and no doubt others and nominate them for this award as their blogs are definately worth a visit. So in no order of preference:

1. Karl at Mindful Balance
2. Davide at Rubicorno
3. Diane at Bardess D M Denton
4. David at Poetry From The Sea

Thanks again Tom at The Poet’s Crafts for this award and all your support and encouragement.

As you know I’ve acknowledged your kindness on my blog and gladly passed the award on without following all the rules. I’m so happy to have connected with you and will soon be catching up on what you share here. Blessings!

Jane congratulations on your plethora of awards! Also I am very grateful to you for passing on the Candle Lighter Award to me and I’m delighted to accept and look forward to passing it on. You did make me smile though as I was just in the middle of writing a post about how, as a result of hormones, I seem to have developed an outstanding ability to be able to burst into tears at the drop of a hat – hee, hee. I’ve put a link to your blog in my thank you at the end of my post today.
