Staying true to yourself…..

When things happen,
Stay true to yourself.

When drama erupts,
Stay true to yourself.

When stress bites,
Stay true to yourself.

When things are unfamiliar,
Stay true to yourself.

When someone speaks their truth,
Stay true to yourself.

When circumstances force change,
Stay true to yourself.

When things are suggested by others,
Stay true to yourself.

When, when, when….
Stay true to yourself.

Then where you are is right,
And true for you.

Oh dear Jane buddy – does that mean I have to give up all my masks?

Wait a minute, what masks, none in my closet…that explains why I have so few friends….

But my friends are all solid people – like my buddy Jane 🙂

And, dear Jane, if every anyone was true to themselves, it is you. You set such a fine example for us out here.

Inspired work, Jane. Truth! We know it even though we sometimes go to great lengths to hide from it; we know our truth. The sad thing is that most throw it away ten thousand times before they realize it was what they had been looking for all along. ~ Love, B

There is a prayer I wrote for my granddaughter that says:

    Brittany’s Prayer

I pray each night to God above
I pray each night for those I love,

I pray each night that I will be
Always and ever true to me.

Her grandpapa and I started when she was four to teach her that there is nothing more important than being true oneself.

    Blessings – Maxi

That’s what my Dad always said we should do. I believe it.
