‘Hearts within one glove’…a joint poem by Martin Shone and Jane Thorne.

Martin at likethesunshone and I have been creating and this is the result…..

Hearts within one glove

Once upon a moment
once upon a time
a memory is created
a memory moment in time

Spun as if a whisper
spun as if from gold
a golden bond in time
a story not yet told

Weaved as if a spider’s hand
had released it’s silken touch
upon two souls, searching searching
for the one who can give so much

Evocative notes from a lute
Memories of love in a dream
A rainbow of colours
The full spectrum hitherto unseen

Musical dreams of passion
a mystical touch of love
singing a song in harmony
hearts within one glove

A fearless display by two
With surety of fate
Under the alchemist’s hand
For the light so great.

As I told Martin, dear Jane, this poem should be only the beginning of a wonderful partnership between you two Brits out in the boonies out there in the UK. You have blown this ol’ lady completely away with your awesome synchronicity here. I am NOT kidding: I expect to see much more of this and a jointly published book next year: do you hear?

“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.” ~ Plato ~ Even familiar words are returned different when they echo against another heart the same (but not the same) as ours. Beautiful! ~ Love, Bobbie
