Evening sky over The Mersey

I watched the sky yesterday evening and the colours flowing through were extraordinary. My photo does not do them justice as there were so many of them layered up there.

Layered stories.

Every single one of us is running with the story we tell ourselves and reacting to this and to the stories others flow with. All different stories. All different reactions. We often ask ‘Why?’ without first seeking to understand the story.

‘Beyond wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field, I will meet you there.’ Rumi

I have lived on the lip
of insanity, wanting to know reasons,
knocking on a door. It opens.
I’ve been knocking from the inside.

Wonderful! That sky is beautiful and the view is marvellous. I don’t think I’d ever tire of it.
My mother and I were talking about something similar just the other day, how everyone’s idea of an event is slightly different because it is seen from their perspective and it depends on what mood they were in or how well they felt. She said that when she was in the police force in the 50’s they were told that if everyone’s version of an accident or a crime or whatever, was exactly the same they would assume that the witnesses had been got at and therefore weren’t reliable.
Wouldn’t it be dull if we were all the same!
    Hugs and love xxXXxx

Beautiful land(and water)scape. Glad our stories are intertwined as they are.
