Loving roots manifest…..

The phone has started to ring for my new venture and not one call has been for cleaning. Most calls start with ‘Hello Jane, can you……?’ and the requests are for help with de-cluttering; sifting, sorting and creating calm in their homes, for all sorts of reasons and happenings. My heart is touched that folk feel safe to share their vulnerability.

Things are brought back to my happy bubble and I am selling on anything of use to others. Then in turn passing on clothing and accessories to my aqua buddy, who runs a second hand clothing shop. Anything else not obviously saleable is going to my buddy down the road, who runs a house clearance service and shop. He has been there for years and often helps those in difficulties with gifts for their homes. He gifted me some tins with lids, and with a named tape (and heart) on the handle of each one, they sit on my shelf to collect the abundance for my clients as their things sell.

It’s all community based and as I returned home yesterday I felt full of loving gratitude. The people I am meeting, love, stories and laughter we are sharing, hard graft, fresh air, support of loved ones and buddies and loving roots manifesting. I thought I would be cleaning, but life had another purpose and I am loving how this is growing. ❤

I’m not a bit surprised. De-cluttering; sifting, sorting, etc, can be pretty emotional as I have learned working on the home I inherited from my parents. But I am making progress and learning, even writing about them! It helps to remind myself that no one is using this and someone could. Donating is easier than throwing away. Then, I’ll apply these skills to the house I live in. Thank you for helping others in this way. It’s valuable.

It sounds amazing – tiring, maybe, but amazing. It seems to me you have a unique gift which others will always appreciate, Jane (as do I). The very best on your new venture. Many hugs!

I think you are too modest. Optimistic people have a lot more things happen for them. Its the way of the world/life/universe – call it what you will. Some people pop into your life for a reason! I just think you are one of life’s good people – and I have told you that before. And yes, lots of fun.

OK, my lovely and yes, I do feel humble. I’ve just finished helping someone restore some calm in their home. Then dashed about dropping loads of different bags off with all my contacts and now I have a date with my bath. 🛀 Then I will list everything up for sale for them. This started from an idea and it’s taking off. I think it’s all from loving energy, as everyone has different needs and I can be flexible for them. It’s working and for that I am very grateful. I think you and I are around the same age, so this will probably make you chuckle. I was asked if I date today… I replied that I spend a lot of spare time sorting second hand stuff and wrapping parcels up for eBay sales. Much simpler than dating!! Hugs for you Jackie and I’m glad you’re having fun. Xx 💗

    Dear Jane,
    Very happy for you.
In Singapore, a rag-and-bone man would come around and collect the excess “stuff”. There was a time once when we used to “sell” these stuff.
But now, we save the items for the people who could use the money. And we give away the items.
    Luv and hugz,
    Eric

In a sense you are cleaning – just not in the traditional manner. Helping people declutter and sell things on is cleaning the space around them for change or growth as they need it!

My husband and I volunteer twice a week at a resale shop. Most often the goods which come in are declutter items. I am always thankful that we are lucky enough to live in a time and place where clutter (excess) is a problem. Working at the shop is fun and we enjoy the people we meet; I suppose that they are one step beyond where your clients are as they have already decided which items they no longer need. The experience has inspired us to do some decluttering ourselves. So glad that this is working out for you.

When we share love, we receive love back.. And sharing our things we no longer need is Giving..
And we receive back the energy felt..
I gave some of my spiritual books away only today to my hairdresser.. Last time we got talking and I knew these books would have a good home.. 🙂 She said it felt like Christmas.. And that made me feel like Father Christmas.. 🙂

Kudos on moving with your passions and service Jane. It’s a good reminder to me. I’ve considered offering a similar service here and this seems to be a nudge for me. Thank you.

Life sparkles when we share our heart and soul with all around us. I believe that’s what you do, Jane. I feel so sorry for those who are hoarders – they can’t de-clutter their hearts and minds, so they store everything in their living space. You create symmetry and peace in your decluttering help. Magnificent.
